The Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) is a Greek governmental research organization operating under the supervision of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) of the Ministry of Culture, Education and Religious Affairs. HCMR is comprised of three research Institutes:

-Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture (IMBBC)

-Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters (IMBRIW)

-Institute of Oceanography (IO)

With BlueRemediomics, HCMR will be working on WP4 and is responsible for the identification of communities, microbes and gene modules that co-vary with specific environments/pollutants in space and time, to derive biomarkers and a new metric for assessing ocean health.
